From volunteer to carrier
I am Diana Kovačić, a teacher by profession (univ. mag. prim. educ), an educator by calling.
Since my high school days, I have been infected with activism and volunteering in an environmental organization, and for over 25 years, I have remained passionate about active participation through my work and engagement in the organization.
For the past 15 years, I have been a professional youth worker, educator, trainer, education designer, public speaker, presenter, and facilitator of national and international (educational) events, as well as an author and editor of numerous informational and educational materials.
I am deeply immersed in (informational) youth work, non-formal education, and youth participation, particularly through volunteering, school projects, and community youth initiatives—always keeping sustainability and the environment at the center of attention.
I have extensive experience in developing public policies and strategies.
As a member of several pools of trainers for nearly two decades— such as Eurodesk Brussels Link, Croatian Agency for Mobility and EU Programs (AMPEU) and more recently, the Council of Europe’s expert pool for education, training, and facilitation. I have gained extensive and intensive experience in the above-mentioned fields of expertise at the EU level.
I enjoy innovating and implementing small- and large-scale (educational) events at various levels and for diverse target groups, developing mentoring programs, and exploring my passion for online tools, visual learning and identity, and creativity.
Stubborn and persistent in finding solutions to recognized problems, I fuel myself with a positive and encouraging attitude—always inspiring and motivating others to jump on the train toward positive change, personal growth, and professional aspirations.
